“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”

I have read the terms and conditions for growing up and I do not agree.

God speaks to us in mysterious ways, and this time He/She chose to get the message across through polite street graffiti in Jerusalem.
That awkward moment when you’re sitting at a Jerusalem bus stop minding your own business and out of nowhere a religious girl chokes on her drink, spits it all over you, apologizes profusely, and then gives you a blessing. o_0
“The rules are simple: they lie to us, we know they’re lying, they know we know they’re lying, but they keep lying to us, and we keep pretending to believe them.”

If everyone wanted peace as much as they want a new iPhone, then there would be peace.

And then you come across something like this and completely forget what the hell we’re all fighting about…
Mother Nature continues to inspire me…
I tried so hard to catch this with my crappy phone cam, so I gave up and researched it instead. Apparently Mars is pairing up with the half moon tonight. If you look out, you’ll notice a bright star directly above the moon (or somewhere nearby, depending on your location.)
Research shows that more people die from stroke or heart attack between 9 am and 11 am on Monday morning than at any other time in the week, the direct result of work-related psychological and physical factors which lead to a significant effect of stress during this time.
Hint: If you’d rather die than go to work, you may be in the wrong line of business.
If you haven’t heard of this yet, TROM is a 13 hour long documentary (yep, 13 hours) that discusses everything from the big bang to the current state of humanity, and everything else in between (religion, education, science, war, health, UFO’s, death… the list goes on and on.) When we react to something, what actually happens is that our brain thinks to itself, “Hmmm, where have I encountered a similar experience before?” and then it re-acts, meaning: acts again. It’s a simple survival mechanism, but it doesn’t have to run on automatic. At any given moment we have the option to pause and say: “Thanks, but no thanks.. This time I’m responding differently.”
And the day came when she realized that no spiritual teacher, guru, channeler, angel, ET, or priest had a closer connection to Source (God) than she did. She saw that they were nothing but signposts along the way, and that the signposts had always been pointing back at her. She was finally beginning to trust herself, and it was good.

The streets of Little Italy NYC were packed tonight and the place was buzzing with tourists, restaurant goers and street vendors. We were invited to a birthday party at a bar nearby, but I was more interested in sneaking out and photographing some of the amazing murals and art around the area. Little Italy has really turned into a hot spot for artists to showcase what they have to offer.
I’ve reached a point in my life where honesty and openness have become a priority. It isn’t always easy, but it’s always fulfilling. To stay true to myself is the ultimate freedom.
The moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself.
